FoodX & Sierra Foothills Food Festival

FoodX is Sierra Commons’ culminating public event for the Cultivating Resilient Rural Food Ecosystems grant initiative, supported by the We Prosper Together Catalyst Grant.

The event celebrates graduates of the Food Entrepreneur Accelerator program, connects local food businesses to buyers and funders, and demonstrates what a thriving regional food economy looks like in practice.

FoodX 2026 is the anchor event of the Sierra Foothills Food Festival weekend (led by Sierra Harvest) and will feature approximately 45 food vendors across multiple rooms at the Miners Foundry, a VIP lounge, a mock grocery store aisle, live music, and a raffle. Sierra Commons holds near-full autonomy over FoodX production.
